About Me ... I became a Justice of the Peace in 2011, and thoroughly enjoy officiating weddings. It is an honor to be a part of a couple’s most happiest occasion in their lives! Here is a brief snapshot of my background prior to becoming a Justice of the Peace. A native of Massachusetts, I grew up in Hingham, and after graduating from Endicott College, became a Paralegal working for many years in Boston and Salem firms in real estate and labor & employment law. I changed careers after 20 years in the legal profession and took on a position working with New York Times bestselling author, Cheryl Richardson in a multi-task role overseeing various functions of her business. Highlights included working on book tours and television shows including Oprah’s Angel Network featuring the Lifestyle Makeover Series of 22 shows taped in Chicago; The Mind Body Makeover Project pilot television series on the Oxygen Network; two Public Television Specials taped for PBS (Take Time for Your Life and Live an Abundant Life); and working with Oprah’s team coordinating the author’s participation with Oprah on her Live Your Best Life multi-city tour. This career segued into a stint working with psychiatrist, author and television personality, Keith Ablow, as well as editing gigs for various on-line magazines such as the Boston Editor and Guide Coordinator for Disney’s Babyzone Magazine, and Expert Producer for Third Age, an on-line destination for the over 40 crowd. Freelance editing and repurposing content has been one of my strengths and passions. I look forward to working with you to craft your wedding ceremony to make your special day perfect!
